General

HXGN15-12 high voltage ring network cabinet with spring operating mechanism is the affiliated equipment used for Alternating-current metal-enclosed switchgear of Rated voltages 12 kV. This series of operating mechanism takes usage of the energy of flat spiral spring to control the action of the load switch and the earthing operation uses the energy from the compression spring. There are three working positions for this operation mechanism. That is CLOSING, OPENING and EARTHING.  This series of operating mechanism has Five Preventions Interlocking functions as well as the distinguishing features of small size, easily to install and adaptable.

The product is qualified according to the delivery inspection. It conforms to relative requirements of GB3804-2004 “High-voltage alternating-current switches for rated voltage above 3.6 kV and less than 40.5 kV”, GB3906-2006 “Alternating-current metal-enclosed switchgear and control gear for rated voltages above 3.6 kV and up to and including 40.5 kV”, GB16926-2009 ” High-voltage alternating current switch-fuse combinations”

Operating instructions for spring mechanism

CLOSING operation

Make sure to check the product has no deformation due to the transportation before install and fix it on the switchgear. Use the special operating handle to insert it into the mechanism and rotate it clockwise about 90 degrees and the switch of circuit breaker is CLOSING under the action of the structural spring force. Or during electric operation, the charging mechanism of the closing coil completes the CLOSING operation. At the same time, The EARTHING operation can no longer be performed.

OPENING operation

Use the operating handle to insert it into the lower right part of the mechanism and rotate it by90 degrees counterclockwise and the switch of circuit breaker is OPENING under the action of the structural spring force. Or during electric operation, the charging mechanism of the closing coil completes the OPENING operation. At the same time, The CLOSING or EARTHING operation can no longer be performed.

EARTHING CLOSING and EARTHING OPENING Operation

Use the operating handle to insert it into the lower right part of the mechanism and rotate it by 90 degrees clockwise and the switch of circuit breaker is EARTHING CLOSING under the action of the structural spring force. At the same time, CLOSING operation can no longer be performed.

Use the operating handle to insert it into the lower right part of the mechanism and rotate it by 90 degrees counterclockwise and the switch of circuit breaker is EARTHING OPENING under the action of the structural spring force. At the same time, CLOSING or EARTHING operation can no longer be performed.
